After receiving the Penn State Stuckeman School Diversity and Inclusion Fellowship, my partner and I launched the project and now collaborate with three senior students from the graphic design department at Stuckeman School. We are planning and preparing for an event in Spring that will promote Stuckeman international students. I created this drawing for deliverables designs and visual distributions elements during the event.
The building at the bottom right is Penn State Stuckeman School. All the decoration patterns represent Stuckeman international students' countries of origin, such as Iran, India, Brazil, Panama, Canada, China, Philippines, Jordan, Turkey, and Mexico (collected from our survey in October). The main character figure sitting on the plane is influenced by Mayan figures.
